A new police operation aimed at tackling the trafficking of human beings for sexual exploitation was launched today. Operation Pentameter is set to involve all police forces across the UK and Ireland. Posters will be going up and business cards will be handed out at major entry points into the UK and Ireland appealing to possible victims of human trafficking. Clients availing of sex services and persons working in the sex industry are also being asked to help by reporting any possible cases of human trafficking they encounter.
