A new police operation aimed at tackling the trafficking of human beings for sexual exploitation was launched today. Operation Pentameter is set to involve all police forces across the UK and Ireland. Posters will be going up and business cards will be handed out at major entry points into the UK and Ireland appealing to possible victims of human trafficking. Clients availing of sex services and persons working in the sex industry are also being asked to help by reporting any possible cases of human trafficking they encounter. Another lady (with no connection to the two ladies who previously issued a warning about www.escortireland.info) has contacted me today to say she previously toured with this agency and was just about to tour with them again when an issue arose between them which led to them making abusive and threatening calls to her. The issue that arose is that the agency noticed the lady had made a post on a message board website advertising her services. The agency felt this was the escort trying to work independently in Ireland as well as tour with them, though the lady maintains it was not, it was simply a message board post she had made at another point in time to see if there was any interest in her services in Ireland.
