Report Human Trafficking

Operation Pentameter, a police operation involving all police forces across the UK and Ireland, was launched in 2006 with the aim of tackling sex trafficking.

This operation has sent a clear message to all involved in the sex industry:

If you have any information about possible sex trafficking in the UK or Ireland you can call Crimestoppers in confidence.

In both the UK and Ireland, Crimestoppers promises callers can remain anonymous and welcomes calls from possible victims of sex trafficking or anyone else (including punters, escorts, escort receptionists, escort agency owners etc) who has any information about possible sex trafficking.

The phone number for Crimestoppers in the Republic of Ireland is:

1800 250025*

The phone number for Crimestoppers in Northern Ireland is:

0800 555111**

* Crimestoppers in the Republic of Ireland is the Irish Crimestoppers Trust, administered by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce but run and manned by the Garda (Irish Police). Apparently Crimestoppers is set to take over from the current Garda Confidential Line in due course.

** Crimestoppers in Northern Ireland is part of the UK Crimestoppers organisation. They have a website at www.crimestoppersni.org. The main UK Crimestoppers website at www.crimestoppers-uk.org may also be of interest because it allows you to contact Crimestoppers via an online form also.
